Description
Bicycle and Pedestrian count data collected from various sources within the Denver Region. Starting in 2020 local jurisdictions have provided this data via DRCOG’s annual data request in the first quarter of each year. For each of the input data sources the method of collection varies, including data provided via targeted outreach. Regional schema was developed, and data was aggregated into the first regional dataset in 2021. Over the course of development, there were several reconsiderations and changes to the schema to accommodate the different attributes. The data is updated in the 2nd Quarter of each year.
Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) provides data in multiple formats to support a wide range of applications, including Shapefile, GeoJSON, WMS, and KML. Shapefile and KML formats are available as downloadable files. GeoJSON and WMS are provided as URL services. Please note that spatial reference information for GeoJSON and WMS services may need to be adjusted before use in web mapping applications.
